Description
World Pulses Day (10th Feb 2022) is an opportunity to raise awareness of the nutritional benefits of pulses and their contribution to sustainable food systems and a world without hunger. Pulses, and legume species in general, contribute to the sustainability of food systems and function as one of the main drivers to enable healthy diets.
In two groups use pulses in recipe's. Black Badger Bars- Carlin Pea Brownies and Hummus. Serve hummus with poppadum's (also made with pulses- Chickpeas)
Whilst one group not 'cooking' discuss:
Can the young people name any pulses?
How many are there?

Instructions
Run two groups, One group to make Hummus while the other discuss pulses.
And the other group to make Brownies while the opposite group discuss pulses.
Both groups will get to try some of each food.
