Description

A quick and competitive elimination game that tests Cubs’ reactions, accuracy and awareness. Cubs stand foot to foot, shoulder-to-shoulder in a tight circle with their legs apart. Using one hand, Cubs try to roll the ball through another Cubs' legs while defending their own.

Instructions

- Ask all Cubs to stand in a tight circle, facing towards the centre.
- Cubs should stand with their feet apart and their feet touching or close to the feet of the Cubs either side of them.
- Each Cub places their hands down in front of them, ready to defend.
- A Leader places the ball in the centre of the circle.
- Cubs use one hand only to hit or roll the ball along the floor. The aim is to get the ball through another Cub’s legs.
- Cubs must use their hands to block the ball and stop it from going between their own legs.
- They can move their hands from side to side but must keep their feet in position.
- If the ball clearly passes between a Cub's legs, that Cub is out. The Cub steps out of the circle and watches the rest of the game.
- The remaining Cubs close the circle slightly and continue playing.
- As the circle gets smaller, the game becomes faster and more difficult.
- Continue until only one Cub remains. The final Cub is the winner.
