Description

In this activity, Squirrels will make a Character Cress Head. Following week the Squirrels will be encouraged to describe the changes which have taken place since the seeds were planted - exploring the look, feel, and smell of the growing plants. They can use the simple diary they were given at the start of the activity to show the changes through drawing or writing.

Resources

Small pots, craft bits to create a character surrounding the pot. Cotton Wool, Kitchen towel and cress seeds.

Instructions

Squirrels & Beavers can work together and show their imagination.
Beavers can share out Cress seeds with the squirrels.
