Description

The draw an engineer activity is a good opportunity to generate some discussion about who engineers are and to find out what the girls already know about engineering.

Instructions

Print: a few copies of the ‘draw an engineer’ activity sheet.
Ask the girls to draw, crayon or paint a picture of an engineer.
Responses: ask a volunteer to display the drawings on a wall, whiteboard, or flip chart, if there is one available.
Share: the Ladybirds’ drawings using hashtag #STEPSGirlGuideBadges Ask: the girls to explain their drawings.
Show: and tell the girls about the engineers on the next page.
