Description
Using a bush craft knife to whittle a fox head
Resources
A supply of wood. Green wood is easier to carve. Choose limbs about the thickness of a skinny Scout's forearm and sawn to six inch long. You need one piece for four Scouts plus some extra's for demos and mistakes.
A bushcraft knife each. My risk assessment suggests do not use their own knives - they tend to arrive not fit for purpose. Plus they need to have been sharpened.
You may want a "no cut" glove for each Scout - to be worn on their non-dominant hand.
