Instructions

Sprinkle baking soda over the plate
Add drops of food colouring on the baking soda
Measure 1/4 cup of vinegar, pour vinegar gently on food colouring
What happens?
Explain the chemical reaction if appropriate:
When baking soda and vinegar combine they create a byproduct of carbon dioxide. The gas escaping causes the fizzing and the leftover vinegar mixes with the food colouring to create the rainbow.
