Instructions

Show and tell the Brownies about our five engineers:

• Clarissa is currently studying Civil Engineering at the University of Limerick.
• Dami is studying Mechanical Engineering.
• Elisha is also studying Mechanical Engineering.
• Rachael is studying Biomedical Engineering at the University of Limerick.
• Rahima studied Civil Engineering and works as a BIM Technician - she is a liaison person with design teams, clients, architects, surveyors, engineers, and project managers.

Explain: Engineers are problem solvers; they enjoy finding a problem and thinking of a way to solve it. There are many different types of problems so different types of engineers are needed to solve them. Engineers are all different types of people from different backgrounds and with different hobbies. When Brownies solve a problem, they are thinking like an engineer, and they can be an engineer too. Anyone can become an engineer. Ask: the girls what type of problems they would like to solve as engineers.
