Instructions

Explain: to the Brownies that engineering is everywhere. It is in our homes, schools, and local communities. It's in phones, buildings, cars, and computers. It's everywhere because engineers are always solving problems or improving things to help others, to make life easier or to help the environment. For example, engineers design traffic lights to tell you when it’s safe to cross roads or they make improvements to toothpaste so that your teeth get whiter.

Print: copies of the spotter sheet. Ask: the girls to look for engineering examples and colour them in when they see them.
