Description

Beavers fold an origami tulip and stem and write on an accompanying card

Resources

For 24 Beavers:
160 gsm card in green for stems x 12
160 gsm card in other colours for flower heads x 4
160 gsm card in white for pledge cards x 12
Colouring pens or pencils for pledges, &c

Instructions

Print out and guillotine card using templates
Print our and guillotine pledge cards
Print out folding instructions (2 pages)

Beavers fold flowers and stems with leader assistance
Leader cuts bottom from flower to allow stem to be inserted (no need to fold bottom of flower or to glue in place)

Beavers think about:
- why they love their Mum
- what they will do to thank them

Beavers write pledges on card (possibly after agreeing what they will put with a leader)

Optionally take pictures of flowers and pledges and post on Facebook or have Beavers attend Church and speak to their creations and thoughts.
