Description

Beavers race to find the eggs hidden under yoghurt pots.

Resources

Foil wrapped eggs (about 3 per child), yoghurt pots (about 6 per child).

Instructions

All yoghurt pots at end of room with eggs under some.
Beavers line up in teams at the other end of the room.
First in team runs, turns over a yoghurt pot, collects egg if there or replaces pot if not. Only one turn over per run.
Runs back and next in team runs.
Continue until all eggs collected.
Towards the end, remove empty pots so they know they've got all the eggs.
Winning team is the one with the most eggs. Share out equally between the whole group.
