A variation on the old board game favourite, adapted to fit your local community. Team activity played in the style of an orienteering / scavenger hunt.

Resources

A completed board of the local area
Local map to ensure work out where the grid references are

Instructions

- Split the Section into teams of 4-7 Scouts
- The teams need to prove that they have been to each location (i.e. menu from a restaurant or picture with phone or digital camera)
- Set a definite time limit to be back at a designated point (could be your meeting place)
- Award one point for each place visited, double the points for each set collected
- Add up the teams' scores as they return
- In the event of two teams scoring the same mark, the team to finish first wins
