Discuss with Beavers before having an evening of activities learning about Shabbat.
Ask at the beginning if the Beavers have talked about Judaism at school?
Explain that understanding other people’s religions is important.
It helps you to be considerate of things that they may need such as special food, special days (such as Jewish Shabbat) and festivals.
Pictures are passed round during talk to aid understanding.
