It is important for safe Scouting and helpful for Badge requirements to know who attended each meeting.


Resources

- Attendance register, this could be paper or digital but should include the date, the names of all the young people who may be in attendance, and a way to record whether each young person was in attendance
- Pen, if attendance register is paper
- Phone, tablet, or laptop, if the attendance register is digital

Instructions

1. Assign a Leader to take the register.

2. Take the register.
You could note attendance as Beaver Scouts arrive or during your opening ceremony or circle. You can also incorporate the register into a game to help Leaders and Beavers Scouts learn names.

3. Keep a record of the attendance, fpr example, in Online Scout Manager.
