Dad is always tidying up for us and working hard; let’s take care of Dad for Father’s Day!

Resources

One set per team:
Litter pick grabbers
Pair of socks
Chocolate wrapper
Newspaper
Breakfast bowl
Mug
Dad sign
Washing up bowl

Instructions

Line Beaver teams up in different corners of the hall.
Have a basket/bin (we used a washing up bowl) next to each team.
The first Beaver to run has the grabbers.
The other items are in a pile in the middle of the room - one pile per team.
They have to run and pick up one item using the grabbers and bring it back to their team. They take it in turns, passing on the grabbers.
They have to put the socks and the chocolate wrapper in the basket/bin next to them.
Once they have the Dad sign, cereal bowl, newspaper and mug they have to choose one to be Dad (holds the sign) and sit around the objects smiling at dad in the middle.
The first group to all be sitting in a circle wins.
