Description

Working in pairs. One cub guides a blindfolded partner to explore a tree. They then have to refind their tree once blindfold is removed.

Instructions

Decide who will be blindfolded first and who will be the guide. The guide will be directing the Cub to a tree. Remind the guide to be kind to their blindfolded Cub as they might be next depending on time. Slow steady pace helping them to avoid obstacles on the way.
Guide choses a tree that is unique. Guide places hands of tree and ask blindfolded Cub to explore and remember features of the tree. Guide can ask questions about textures and smell. Thickness of branches, leaning angles etc.
After a couple of minutes, the guide returns the Cub back to the start point. Following a round about route back to the start. You may spin the Cub a couple of times.
Blindfolded Cub guesses their tree. Use hotter or colder to help if cub is struggling.
