Water Time Bomb

Report Copyright Infringement View in OSM UK

Description

Similar to time bomb but played with lots of wet sponges on a hot day

Resources

Lots of sponges or reusable water bombs. You can use big sponges and chop them up.
(If using sponges, do not use near gravel)
A playing field divided up so each Patrol has its area. Think circle divided with everyone meeting in the middle if you have more than four teams.
Buckets of water around the outside. At least one per patrol and lots of marshals to make use of them.
Whistle

Instructions

Patrols stay in their area. Marshalls check that they stay in their area.
Sponges start in the buckets of water.

On the first whistle the wet sponges are thrown into the playing area by the marshals. The Patrols then need to get the sponges out of their area. If they fall out of the playing area, the marshals dunk them in the buckets and throw them back in play. On the second whistle everyone stands up with their hands in the air and the marshals count how many sponges are in each segment.

Make the time between whistles variable.

The winner is the patrol with the least amount of sponges in their area.
