Description

Scouts try and get a coin from centre of the hall and place it on opponents chair

Resources

1 coin
2 chairs or chalk/ masking tape to mark a scoring area on the floor

Instructions

Split troop into 2 equal teams. Number teams 1 to 10 or whatever from tallest to smallest so each scout gets to play against someone of similar size and age. If they are like my troop don't let teams number themselves or you will have the biggest pl playing against a new scout who has just moved up.
Place coin in centre of room and then a chair - or scoring area- at either end of room and tell teams which chair belongs to which team.
Call 1 or 2 numbers depending on the size of your teams. We currently have 20 per team and it would take a long time if only 1 number called. If a smaller troop call single numbers for everyone and then call double numbers to make game last longer
When number called - 1- each number 1 has to try and get the coin and place it on their opponents chair. Don't allow scouts to grab opponent around the neck as they try and get coin off them.
First scout to put the coin on opponents chair firmly- must be placed not thrown- gets a point for their team.
