Row you Viking longship to raid other settlements, collect their treasure, mind the rocks and the sea monsters and get back to your own settlement.

Resources

bags of gold chocolate coins
Fluffy 'toy' monsters
Papier-mache rocks or cushions

Instructions

Split into Lodges/Sixes
Set up a course, with treasure to collect, settlements to raid, rocks and monsters to avoid
Sit on the floor one behind the other in a long boat, pretend to have an oar in your hand
Boats lose crew members if they touch a sea monster and are out
Boats can sink if they strike a rock, and they have to get up and go back to the start and start again
Row together and shuffle as one along the floor

The winner is the first boat back with all the treasure and the most crew
