A variety of folk games are played on Chuseok ("choo-suhk") to celebrate the coming of Autumn and rich harvest.
Chuseok is a major mid-autumn harvest festival and a three-day holiday in South Korea celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar on the full moon. https://www.chuseok.info/
Juldarigi is a traditional Korean sport similar to tug of war. It has a ritual and divinatory significance to many agricultural communities in the country, and is performed at festivals and community gatherings. A number of religious and traditional rituals are performed before and after the actual competition.

Play tug of war. Each side of the rope represents a side of the town where the farmer/villagers would plant crops. The winning team of the Juldarigi is often rigged with the west side being the winners.
