Cubs split into 6's
They work as a group to construct and plant up a terracota pot with various plants and bulbs, using tools and taking care with plants and implements.
this can be labelled as a gift or to identify plants.
it can be decorated outside with paints.

Resources

pots, plants, bulbs, crocks for base of pot, paints if decorating, labels for pot for gifting or plant identification, soil, 3 different gardening tools and instructions on safe use

Instructions

splint into 6's
prepare tables with requisite resources for each 6 to produce a plant filled pot in advance
encourage cubs to plan position and layout of plants, allow space for growth, point out buds and stems, split and share plants to co-operate as a pack.
label plants identify species, or make labels to give pots as gifts perhaps to those of need in community.
decorate outside of pot
