Making a remembrance day poppy as a stained glass effect sun catcher

Card template
red/purple/black/white tissue paper
String for hanging
Glue stick
Scissors

Instructions

Cut the template from black card. Fold an A5 piece of black card into quarters. Fold the template into quarters, as shown.
Punch a whole in the templates if they want to hang them.
Each child gets two cut outs, several pieces of tissue paper and one string
Use glue to decorate one side of one of the black templates.
Place the other black template on top, gluing it in place, sandwiching the tissue paper between.
Trim any tissue paper from the edges if it overlaps the templates.
Attach string if desired.
