Paper mini minion. Beavers like making these that they wanted to make two one for the event we were using them for and one to take home.

Resources

Yellow paper and blue paper, download minion eyes and mouths from web (just check copyright etc), colouring pencils/pens. Laminator and laminator sheets.

Or pringle tubes painted yellow and stick the blue dungaree template around it, and then eyes, mouths etc.

Instructions

Using the template either cut out enough copies for children to draw around and cut out or photocopy onto blue paper and ask beavers to cut out. They might find it a little difficult to cut out the arm holes so they might need a little assistance. This is the dungarees so you'll only need the part with the arm holes. Prit stick this to yellow paper. Beavers can then cut out the minion eyes and mouths that you can download off the web. These need sticking onto the yellow part between the dungarees armholes. The beavers can then draw on hair, beards, arms. When done we laminated ours and then stapled in a tube as we needed them for a display outside. I've attached photo of our finished minions. This was a last minute thing to include all our Beavers as we were taking part in a scarecrow event and we could only provide one scarecrow so some beavers couldn't take part in making the scarecrow. We made these to accompany our minion scarecrow. The Beavers asked if they could make two, one to take home and one for the event (unfortunately I only had enough material for one each). When the event was finished the ones that were away when we made them saw the ones I was returning to the Beavers to take home and asked if they could make one as well.
