Description

Quick starter quiz about Saint Andrew and Saint Andrew's Day to fulfill part of the World Faiths badge or start off a 'Scottish' themed night.

Resources

Paper (at least four sheets or one per patrol), pen(s) and blue-tack/tape.

Instructions

This can be done two different ways:

1. Stick up in the four corners of the room a piece of paper with a large 'A', 'B', 'C' and 'D'. All Scouts stand in the middle. The Leader reads out the question (and may need to repeat the options), whilst Scouts go to the corner that they think the correct answer is. Then, once all Scouts have gone to a corner, the Leader reads out the correct answer and explanation. Once that is done, the Scouts to return to the centre and the next question is read out.

2. In classic quiz format, each patrol has a piece of paper and a pen and they write down answers as the questions are read out. If this format is done, OMIT OR CHANGE QUESTION 6 (as it has the answer for question 1 in it).
