Instructions
Line up troop tallest to smallest then number in 2's i.e. 1-2. 1-2 etc. If an odd number at meeting ask a young leader to make it even.
All number 2's form a circle in centre of hall then all number 1's stand behind the number 2 that was next to them in the line up. You should now have 2 circles- outer and inner- with tallest number 1 standing behind tallest number 2 and so on
All tasks are performed by the outer circle.
Tasks- Number 1 - people on outer circle run clockwise round inner circle back to their place
Number 2 - people on outer circle run anti clockwise round inner circle back to their place
Number 3 - people on outer circle jump on back of partner on inner circle
Number 4 - People on outer circle go under legs of partner in inner circle
After number 4 has been completed the outer circle becomes the inner circle and vice versa. This way everyone gets a chance to do the tasks.
First pair to finish each task gets a point and first pair to get 5 points are the winners.
Suggest don't call the tasks in order, that way nobody knows what is coming next. Nothing wrong with calling the same number 2 times in a row. Also have a run through of each task before the competition starts so everyone knows what to do.
