The capital city is called Canberra.

In Australia it's their winter when it's our summer (and their summer when it's our winter!). They can have Christmas in the sun on the beach!

Australia is about 32 times bigger than the UK.

There are about 67 million people in the UK and 26 million people in Australia even though it's so much bigger. There must be lots of space!
