Description

Simple starter activity getting the Scouts into Patrol, pairs or individually to collect the words and de anagramise them

Resources

Bare minimum - Paper, Pen, Scissors, 1 printed page of anagrams and answers

Better - Printed out sheets - one for each table/group

Best - Blu-Tac/pins , place to put/pin the jumbled words

Instructions

1. Print out the anagram sheets.
2. Keep the answers to yourself
3. Cut up the sheet with the jumbled up words on and:
A. Stick them to the walls around your hut for the kids to "hunt" for in groups
B. Split them in to 4/5 groups and give each group 4-5 words to decipher and then rotate the words.

4. Mark at the end.
5. Give prize for most correct answers,
