Patrols to design, template, cut and sew patrol flags

Resources

Pens or pencils
Scissors
Rulers
Needle and thread (various), one per person
Pins
Fabrics, various colours depending on designs
Cord, enough that each person has about a metre

Instructions

Show the patrols all their patrol badges and some example flag designs

encourage patrols to design their flags on paper and create templates of paper to attach and cut out fabric

careful use of fabric scissors, pins ans sewing needles

As patrols may be larger, could encourage them to make two per patrol to ensure everyone gets a turn.
