Description

An exercise for Network, Explorers and new leaders.

Given a scenario, plan a camp for different numbers of explorers:
Campsite fees
Food fees
Activities, and costs (including max numbers)

Variation to include leaders.

Helps with understanding what goes into camp planning, the costs involved and how to budget.

Can be expanded into menu planning, equipment planning and training planning as part of a larger piece of work.

Prices are based on real campsites, updated for 2023.

Instructions

Break your participants into teams.
Give them all the worksheet. You can ask each team to work on planning for a single ESU, or for all (all gives the full overview)

Teams present their findings, and are given the opportunity to discuss opportunities or conclusions.
