Having learnt about the work food bank charities do the Cubs and Beavers have decide to collect food for their local bank.

Instructions

The leader must obtained permission from the council to go door to door. The children design a leaflet.

Week 1 : the children post printed leaflets through doors asking for donations. The home owners are asked to put the leaflet in their window the following week if they're able to make a donation.
Week 2 : the children set off with a wheelbarrow and look for the houses with leaflets in the window. They knock on the doors, collect the donations.
The leader then arranges for the food to go to the food bank.
