Description

Beavers wrap wool around a card tree to represent the colours of a tree in one of the seasons.
(Can use as part of Gardener badge to learn about tree changes in different seasons.)

Card cut out of tree top and trunk - one per child.
Wool colours for different seasons - cut out in advance.
Small red pom poms (berries), snowflakes, flowers.

Instructions

First ask the Beavers what they know about the changes trees undergo in the 4 seasons.
Beavers have a card tree top and trunk and a selection of craft items so they can choose which tree to make.
They wrap the wool around the tree and add additions for whichever season they have chosen.
You can just choose for all to make one season to make it easier.
