Instructions

Ollie Ollie Octopus starts with those who are not the octopus chanting, "OLLIE OLLIE OCTOPUS, CAN WE CROSS YOUR DEEP BLUE SEA TODAY PLEASE!" we encourage the kids to be as loud as possible and use this as a noisy portion of the night, the octopus replies and sats "only if you have xxx" this can be a colour or an item of clothing etc. Those who have this item may cross without being tagged then everyone else can run across to the other side without getting tagged by the Octopus. Players who are tagged stand where tagged and become ‘Seaweed’ – they wave their arms and can try to tag other players as they run by but their feet can't move. Last one to be tagged wins and becomes the new Octopus.
