Design a poster

The RNLI gives the following advice to anyone visiting locations near the water this summer.

1. Stop and think
2. Stay together
3. Float
4. Call 999/112
In your Unit, design a poster to reflect these basic rules.
Each Patrol can be assigned one of the pieces of advice. Then the posters can be presented to the rest of the Unit.

Further activities: Hazards can be identified as a group and issues
explored in an open session. A visit to a local lifeboat station
could be an interesting way to learn more. Perhaps a lifeguard
might visit the Unit and help explain some of the beach flags and signs. There are lots of education materials on RNLI.org for
