Instructions

Cubs can:
- Find out about two different aids that can assist a deaf person, and how they help. For example, subtitles on TV, and different types of alarms (how would a deaf person know if a fire alarm is going off?).

- Learn the alphabet in fingerspelling and understand a word communicated in fingerspelling.

- Learn a song in Makaton or British Sign Language.

- Explain how to approach a deaf person and speak so they can lip-read.
