Autopsy game:
• Outline of a body (often good to put this on a groundsheet).
• A sheet made from black plastic refuse sack(s).
• Body parts… a cauliflower for the brain; a peeled grape for the eye; some sponge for the lung; a tomato (a whole peeled one from a can) for the heart; cooked and oiled spaghetti for the intestines; a piece of jelly for the liver.

Pin the wart on the witches’ nose:
-Blue tack
-Picture of a witch

Instructions

Mummy Wrapping

• Brownies divide into their Sixes.
• Each Six is given a supply of toilet paper.
• You can also supply accessories (such as hats, wigs, old boots etc)
• Each Six chooses a mummy and has to wrap them in toilet paper.
• This can be done as a race, or against the clock.
• If it is not a race, award a prize for random categories such as ‘scariest mummy’, ‘funniest mummy’, ‘best covered mummy’, ‘looks like they might be the best at cooking/ football…. mummy’. Every Six can get an award if you like.

Catch the ghost

• Make a lot of ghost cutouts.
• The Brownies divide into their Sixes.
• Each Six has a bowl/ container for the ghosts they catch. These are put into the middle of the hall.
• Each Brownie is given a straw.
• Scatter the ghosts around the hall.
• The Brownies must ‘catch’ the ghosts by sucking it up on the end of their straw. They must keep the ghost on the straw this way so they can deposit it into their container.
• The Six with the most ghosts in their container wins.


Autopsy game

• Cover the body with the black plastic sheet and cut out holes for the Brownies to feel the parts through. It works well if you cover these individual parts with individual covers, so they don’t see what they are feeling.
• Allow each Brownie to feel the parts, you can give as much gory commentary as you like.

Pin the wart on the witches’ nose

• You will need a picture of a witch and some blue tack.
• Each Brownie is blindfolded and turns around three times.
• They then attempt to pin the wart (piece of blue tack) on the witches’ nose.
• The closest one to the nose is the winner.
