Description
People Bingo - Used as an introduction to help Scouts/Cubs/Beavers get to know each other's names and learn something about them. Also a great ice breaker to help get new members chatting with each other.
Suitable for all age groups.
Resources
Need a bingo card and pen/pencil/crayon for each Scout/Cub/Beaver.
I use a 4x4 grid - so there are 16 questions in total on each bingo card but you could adapt this to suit the size of your group and the amount of time you want to spend on the activity.
I have attached the word document with Bingo cards. If you print the document, it gives 26 bingo cards.
Recommend using clipboards or tables, so Scouts can write on their Bingo cards easily.
Instructions
Start of by explaining the rules to the Scouts.
-Scouts move around and ask each other 1 question (from the bingo card) each, before moving to the next Scout. This is repeated until a Scout has completed their bingo card.
-If they find a Scout who answers Yes to their question, they write their name under the question.
-They can only use a person's name once on their card.
-The Scout to complete their card first wins.
