Poppy handprint wreath

Resources

1. red paint
2. green paint or paper (leaf)
3. black paint or paper (centre)
4. laminator if wreath to be displayed outside (optional)
5. plain white card (x how many children you have)
6. Sponge

Instructions

1. Children to put on something to protect their clothes
2. Use the sponge to apply paint to hands. handprint red paint onto the white card/paper (petals), green paint (leaf), black paint (centre). if you only have a small drey you can use green paper to cut out a leaf and black paper to make the centre and just make red handprints
3. children wash their hands and let everything dry
4. if the wreath is to go outside, laminate all the handprints and wreath parts prior to assembly.
5. once dry assemble into a wreath.
