Description

Players must find a specific randomly generated wikipedia article, starting from another randomly generated wikipedia article clicking only on the links on the pages. This activity helps to understand navigating web pages, processing information, and degrees of separation.

Instructions

Players open up the wikipedia page on their device, this works on both mobile and desktop devices. Using the drop down menu in the top left hand corner, select random which will take you to a random page. The leader does this on their own device, the page the leader selects will be the goal. Using only the links contained on the pages, the challenge is to find your way from the initial random page to the leaders goal page. The first team to reach the goal page wins. This can be repeated by going back to the random tab and the leader selecting a new random goal page.
