Cubs or Scouts make fudge to eat or give as presents
Resources
Condensed millk
Milk
Demerara Sugar
Butter
Glace cherries, stem ginger, hazelnuts, plain chocolate chips as flavourings
Large non-stick saucepans
Gas hobs & cannisters
Wooden spoons
Greaseproof paper
Baking trays
Knife
Cutting boards
Washing up bowl, cloth, scourer, liquid
Cooking thermometer (optional)
Instructions
Use attached spreadsheet to devise shopping list (each patrol makes a different flavour fudge)
Wash hands
Make fudge to attached recipe
Wash up (senior scouts in kitchen)
Leave to cool
Cut into squares
If desired, place in gift boxes lined with greaseproof paper.
Take residue home in larger pieces wrapped in greaseproof paper
