Description

We are allowing the Scouts to test their culinary expertise and we are having a £1 cookout at the Scout Hall and as there is 5 in a Patrol - do the maths!!

They must cook a Main meal with a pudding for their Patrol within an Hour and half – they are allowed to link up with another Patrol to share their monies to buy goodies, but must cook individually within their Patrols,

They will go to Aldi / Lidl up the road from the Scout Hall and buy all their own ingredients, they are allowed to bring to the cookout – 1 Onion, 1 Carrot, Spices & some Cooking Oil – NO FIRES.

They will need to source a portable stove, pan, cooking utensil and all cutlery – if they do not have … contact the Leaders beforehand and will check the Stores, not saying we do have any at hand!!!

Spices / Salt

Instructions

Cook your meal over a Hexi Stove or Gas Burner within the time period - NO FIRES ALLOWED!!
Allowed to link Monies up with another Patrol to buy any food at Supermarket
Must cook as a Patrol in the preparation of the meal
Prepare a Pudding and use the resources wisely!!
