Description

Relay race to collect moon rocks. Can use as part of a Space themed night.

Resources

Scrunched up foil balls 'moon rocks' (one per Beaver), plant pot walkers (1 set per team), gloves (1 pair per team).

Instructions

Beavers line up in teams.
Each team has a set of plant pot walkers and a pair of gloves.
At the opposite end of the room (the moon!) are piles of moon rock (scrunched up foil).
Beavers have to put on the gloves (so they don't touch the moon rock!) then walk on the plant pot walkers to the 'moon', collect a piece of moon rock and bring it back to their team.
The Beavers then repeat until everyone has had a go.
