Description

We take the children down to the road, get them to point out the hazards before crossing. Then when the road is clear we ask them to demonstrate how to appropriately cross the road.

Instructions

We walk down to the nearby road, as a group we discuss the risks and dangers of crossing the road.
I then ask them to tell me the green cross code before crossing, an adult will then demonstrate crossing the road.
We will then get them to copy by crossing the road when it is safe to do so, as approved by both leaders either side of the road.
They will show us how to cross the road and back.
