Description

Cover a Tin Can with Rope then Decorate with Flowers or Hearts for a Valentines / Mothers Day Gift

The gift can be used as a small flower pot, a pencil / pen holder, a general stationary pot or a jewellery keep safe.

Resources

Clean Empty Tin Can (Soup / Bean Can for example)
Glue (Glue Gun or Glue Dots are Best)
Thin Twine/Rope
Multi Coloured Hearts or Paper Flowers.
Optional - Gems for the Flower Centre.

Instructions

Place a dot of glue at the bottom corner of the tin can.

Stick one end of the twine to this then wind the twine all the way up the can till it fully covers the side of the tin where the label would usually be.

Use more glue to stick the end of the twine to the top corner of the tin.

Now stick hearts or paper flowers with the gems in the centre to the side of the tin for decoration.
