Description

The Beavers become archeologists for this activity. Fill deep trays with sand/soil and bury the dinosaurs into the trays. Activity was designed by our young leaders as part of a dinosaur themed night

Resources

deep trays filled with sand or soil and maybe some pebbles/stones
pack of small dinosaur skeleton toys ( enough for all children to find at least 2)- we bought from Temu
paint brushes

Instructions

Fill deep trays with sand/soil and bury the dinosaurs into the trays.
Give them a paintbrush each, and tell them they have to find the buried dinosaurs,
Once they have found their dinosaurs, they need to identify what dinosaur they have found on the print outs provided.
