A game to help Beavers learn about the flags from 5 countries.

5 Flags of different African countries (Flags attached below)

Instructions

Explain that elephants sometimes have to go on long journeys to find food and water.

Put the flags of Malawi, Zambia, Tanzania, Uganda, Mozambique on the walls around the room.

The Beavers then become elephants and start moving from flag to flag (country to country) doing the actions called out (listed below).

The Leader calls 'from Malawi to Uganda' etc.

Change the action called as they move (or they won't go anywhere for 'watering hole'!)

Ways to move: -
Savannah - move slowly grazing.
Hot sand - tiptoe quickly.
Mud - lift legs high as if squelching through mud.
Watering hole - stand still.
Stampede - run.
