Race around the Circle and get to the space before your friend

Resources

Chalked "Floor Dots" or cones, to mark enough positions for all players around a circle

Instructions

1 Everyone stand in a circle on the marked positions.
2 An adult volunteer or Young leader should choose 1 player to be "IT"
3 "IT" should jog around the circle and hover there hand over players shoulders.
4 As the pass each person, "IT" should gently tap them on the shoulder and say either "NO" or "TAG".
5 When "IT" says "NO", nothing happens - "IT" should carry on going around and tapping people.
6 When "IT" says "TAG" , the person who was tapped on the shoulder is going to race them
7 Both players race in opposite directions around the OUTSIDE of the circle, trying to get back to the chosen persons
empty space first. The space should be left empty when they raced.
8 The player who gets there LAST will then be "IT" and the game continues
