Kill Zone
Report Copyright Infringement View in OSM UK
Description
Kill zone is a variation of quick cricket / hand ball / dodge ball.
Resources
Chalk or cones to mark safe zones
Sponge or fly away ball
Instructions
A pitch is set up with 2 safe zones at either end of a hall. Team A occupies a safe zone which will be the "batting end". A sponge / flyaway ball is bowled by Team B. The batter hits the ball with their hand in a forward direction.
The batter then scores a run for their team by making it to the safe zone at the opposite end of the hall and back to the batting end. The batter may choose to wait in the safe zone at the opposite end until the next team mate has hit the ball.
If a batter is hit with the ball outside of the safe zones they are out, the game continues until the team is out. Anyone in a safe zone at the opposite end with no more teammates to bat must get back to the batting end before play ends.
Runs are counted and the teams then swap places
