Description

Game for two teams to win Lodge/Six/Patrol points by taking the bacon home without being hit by their opponent's ball.

2 chairs
1 necker
1 ball

Instructions

Two teams line up on opposite sides of the hall.
Number each team from 1 up, starting at opposite ends.
Place 1 chair at each end of the hall, 1 necker (bacon) and 1 ball in the centre.
Allocate 1 chair to each team.
Call out 1 number.
The pair called race to the middle and choose an item each (first there grabs their choice).
The person with the bacon has to get it onto their team's chair without being hit by the ball, and gets a point for their team.
(The bacon only counts if it stays on the chair, so if they throw it and it falls off they have to run over and place it on the chair without being hit with the ball!)
If they are hit by the ball before their bacon is on the chair, the other team gets a point.
