Scouts/Cubs Post-it Forum

Report Copyright Infringement View in OSM UK

Description

Appropriate for Scout Troops and Cub Packs, particularly for groups and/or individuals

Resources

Pens, pencils, post-it notes.

Instructions

Give out stacks of notes to small groups (can be done in patrols/sixes) and ask them to think of ideas of what they would like to do for x segment of time (could be game suggestions, activity suggestions, camp suggestions etc;). Strictly one idea per post-it note.

After 10 minutes gather up the post-it notes. Pick two points, A and B - this could be opposite ends of a hall, but ideally at least 10m apart. Explain that for each post-it note, that you will call out the idea. Scouts/Cubs can pick point A for 'yes, great idea' or B for 'no, not for me'. You can include a middle of the two for those unsure.

As each post-it gets voted on, place then into 'yea' or nay' piles.

You can leave it there, or if you need to winnow it down a little more....
You can leave it to patrol leaders to vote on the 'yea' pile.
