Making a fun way to do a good turn

Resources

A jar per Cub
10 lolly sticks per cub
Biros
Things to decorate the outside of the jars (stickers/ permanent markers)

Instructions

-Explain that as Cubs we are supposed to do a good turn every day
-Talk about what a good turn is (something nice/ helpful to someone else from which you don't benefit)
-Give each Cub 10 lolly sticks and a biro (the ink doesn't bleed from these)
-Get them to write one good turn on each lolly stick
-Give each Cub a jar/ bottle and put the lolly sticks inside
-Give them some things to decorate it (if using permanent markers make it clear these won't come off clothing)
-Explain that each day they can pick a different one out and do it- challenge them to see if they can do it all week
