Flagpole
Equipment:
6 sticks
7 pieces of string

Use square lashings to make a square and a ‘T’ (this is a view from above)


Place the ‘T’ on top of the square and used square lashings to fix them together (this is a view from above)

Stand the ‘T’ up straight and use clove hitches to attach support ropes to stop it from falling (this is a side view)


Raft
Equipment:
6 sticks
2 cans (block the holes if you want to try floating it in water)
10 pieces of string

Built the stick frame first using square lashings
Attach the cans underneath using a clove hitch then wrapping the rope around the can and the 2 sticks above it and another clove hitch to finish (this is a view from above)
